Life in the United Kingdom

Since i landed in the united kingdom, the most frequent question i encounter is this, How is life there??? well... nothing much of a difference.. i'm still 6 ft... 68kgs... legs on ground.... talking thro mouth... seeing thro eyes.... hearing thro ears.... nothing has changed... no worries... i'm still alive...

But lifestyle????? May be thr's a difference... The only considerable difference here is the cost of living.. its pretty....eh nope... very costly... just imagine getting one kg of rice for 100 bucks in india.... poof.... its a reality here.... i get to travel a whole day in brighton by bus for 300 bucks... I love u india...

But... what surprised me here r d people here.... thr is just no hurry here (atleast it loks like..)... the other day i was travelling by bus at 4 am when d bus stopped for a traffic signal... the best part is except the bus not a single vehicle was nearby.... still the bus waited till d signal to turn green and then proceeded.... no hurries... that was a pleasent change from a relatively hurry burry india....

People always seems to have a smile on their face... When u abt to enter a place thro a door and thr is another person coming from inside, he/she would be holding the door open until u enter... that too wit a smile... they r all easily approchable for help....

the best part here is my studies.... no pressure... except for something called plagarism... (right opposite to Indian system whr ctrl c and ctrl v r the favorite comands while doing assignments..) its more abt thinking than just memorising..... open book tests r coomon place .. but nt for every subject.... still its better.... thr just too much time to do self study.... dont ask me if i'm doing that... having 13 hrs of classes every week is a far cry from 40 hrs of classes i had in my undergrad days... But still i bunk a few classes in those 13 hrs.. he he... somethings in life never changes.... like sleeping, bunking, flirting etc.....

well that's abt the life here.... thr r a few things i still ponder abt.. one such thing is i always wonder how girls over here can wear skirts a good 5 inch above their knee when the temperature outside is 2 degrees.... dont ask me why my eyes look at that... after all i'm a college guy.. what else do u expect... huh....
